About Me

Enterprise Foundation

I have 7 years of experience building enterprise systems for Japanese clients — desktop applications, batch processing, web apps, and internal APIs, primarily with .NET (C#) and some Java. It shaped how I work: understanding the problem before the code, prioritizing clarity and quality, and considering edge cases up front.

A Deliberate Pause

Last year, I reflected on my career and decided to take a break to focus on two things:

English communication — even as a Bridge Engineer, my collaboration with Japanese stakeholders was mostly through Q&A documents, Jira tickets, and emails, with little real speaking practice. I chose to focus on English because I already consume most of my learning resources in English — it feels more natural to think in. To improve, I joined an offline communication class and practiced consistently.
Modern technology — my previous work was mostly with legacy, business-logic-heavy systems in .NET, so I had limited exposure to the modern tech landscape. To change that, I started learning the JavaScript ecosystem — React, Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript — and built real-world side projects from the ground up. I also studied system design concepts and explored AI-augmented development tools to work more effectively.

What's Next

Now, I feel refreshed and ready to take the next step. I'm comfortable working across both .NET and the modern JavaScript ecosystem, and I'm looking for a new opportunity where I can contribute my experience, keep growing, and find real fulfillment in the work I do.

•E-commerce Ecosystem: Designed and built a full-stack platform on a decoupled monorepo — Next.js as storefront and Identity Provider, NestJS as standalone Resource Server communicating via JWKS-verified JWT tokens.
•Admin Dashboard: Built a back-office management interface with React-Admin — integrated with NestJS API for product and order management.
•Auth & Security: Implemented stateless authentication with Better-Auth, JWKS (RSA), RBAC, and short-lived client upload tokens (Vercel Blob gatekeeper pattern).
•Data Integrity: Used TypeORM QueryRunner to wrap order creation and status updates in atomic transactions — ensuring loyalty points and order state stay consistent on failure.
•Artwork Gallery CMS: Built a headless CMS platform with Payload CMS featuring a block-based layout system (Masonry Grid, Hero, Bio blocks) for non-technical curators. High-resolution artwork delivered via Vercel Blob with CDN distribution.
•Workflow: Automated CI/CD deployments via Vercel and Render. Integrated AI-assisted development to accelerate prototyping while maintaining focus on architectural integrity.
